Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of grantsonar.com and the GrantSonar platform, operated by GrantSonar, St. Louis, Missouri. By using the site or an account, you agree to these terms.

GrantSonar helps research grant opportunities and prepare application materials. We do not guarantee eligibility, an open funding window, an award, or the accuracy of a third-party funder listing. Review the official notice and verify every application before submission.

1. Permitted Use

You may use the site and your account to research opportunities, manage your organization profile and grant pipeline, and prepare materials. You are responsible for information you provide and for human review of AI-generated content before relying on or submitting it. You agree not to misuse the service or interfere with its normal operation.

2. Free Access, Trials and Billing

Free access has limited matching and AI features. Eligible organizations receive a seven-day Pro Preview after onboarding without adding a card or incurring a charge. It includes capped AI-reviewed candidates, research and drafting; it does not include Review Board, Autopilot, extra seats or paid fair-use chat. Pre-existing trials retain their original duration and included Pro or Team features through their stated expiry; separately purchased add-ons still require payment.

An eligible workspace may choose an additional seven-day card-backed trial. Checkout displays the selected Pro or Team plan, billing interval, price, applicable tax and trial end before confirmation. Pro monthly is the default selection; Team or annual billing requires an affirmative choice. Unless cancelled before the card-backed trial ends, the selected subscription begins and Stripe charges the payment method at the displayed price. You can cancel from billing settings; cancellation stops future renewals, subject to the refund policy below.

3. First-Month Money-Back Guarantee — Monthly Plans Only

If you are dissatisfied with your first paid month of a Pro or Team monthly subscription, cancel that subscription within 30 calendar days after its first successful paid charge and request a refund by emailing [email protected] within 30 calendar days after cancellation. We will refund the first monthly base-plan charge; applicable tax is handled as required by law. This guarantee applies once per customer or organization, not to later monthly charges, annual plans, add-ons, or one-time services. If you cancel before a card-backed trial ends, there is no subscription charge to refund.

4. Prohibited Conduct

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the website, systems, or accounts
• Interfering with website security or performance
• Using bots, scraping tools, or automated methods to copy website content at scale without permission
• Submitting false, misleading, abusive, or unlawful information through website forms
• Using the website in violation of applicable law

5. Intellectual Property

The service, its design, branding, text, graphics, and other content are owned by GrantSonar or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content except as permitted by law or with our written permission. You retain ownership of your organization content and application drafts.

6. Third-Party Links

The website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.

7. No Warranty

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, except the express first-month refund promise above. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or always available.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GrantSonar will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Material changes to billing or trial terms will not retroactively shorten an active offer.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
